This amazing sabudana vada is really good for those who keep fast during any festival. This sabudana vada in video was made in appam style so it consumes less oil, which makes this vada healthy.

How to Make Sabudana Vada

Ingredients for Sabudana Vada:

  • 250 gm sabudana soaked in water for 5hrs
  • 4-5 pieces of boiled potatoes
  • 1 cup crushed and roasted peanuts
  • 4-5 pieces of chopped green chilies
  • 1 medium piece of grated ginger
  • 1 lemon’s juice
  • 1 teaspoon Aniseed (Variyali)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 2 teaspoon sugar -salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup coriander

Method to Make Sabudana Vada:

  • Take sabudana
  • Add potatoes after grating them
  • Add peanuts
  • Add green chilies
  • Add ginger
  • Lemon juice
  • Add aniseed
  • Add black pepper powder
  • Add sugar
  • Add salt to taste
  • Add coriander
  • Mix well
  • Roll balls out of the sabudana mixture
  • Use appam or any pan you have
  • Apply little oil
  • Cook vada from all sides until light brown
